Eames Style DKR Chair

This is a stylish eames inspired wire DKR reproduction. The seat is covered in premium PU material. The base is made from chromed steel. You will not find a better reproduction!

From the world famous design team of Charles and Ray Eames, the DKR was inspired by baskets, trays and other wire shapes. It was Designed in 1951, and is often referred to as the 'Bikini' chair due to the shape of it's upholstery. The rim of the chair is made out of light gauge wire, and then doubled for strength. It is then positioned on a bent-wire welded "Eifel" base. The chair's organic shape fits the contours of the body making the wire chair a perfect choice for residential and commercial environments.
