This Ball Chair reproduction is inspired by the designer Eero Aarino.
The Ball Chair was first presented at the Cologne International Furniture Fair in 1966, designed by Famous Finnish furniture designer, Eero Aarnio. It caused a major sensation at the fair. Aario later went on to design many classic fibreglass designs.
It is "a room within a room" which in its cosy environment protects from outside noises and provides a sanctuary for rest and relaxation.
Sometimes called the Globe Chair, it is now a true classic of industrial design.
The dimensions for the ball chair are: 1200mm height *1000mm width *790mm depth. When it is turned on its side it is just under 550mm deep. So, it should fit through most doors.
