Can you believe that some companies offer no warranty on their furniture? That is right, no warranty! I rang a company that advertised some furniture similar to ours (you have to check out the competition sometimes.....te he he).  I asked the saleperson about a particular item and then about their warranty on their furniture. The told me that they had no warranty on their furniture. My mouth dropped like 2 metres, I could not believe what I heard. I asked him a few more questions, which he couldn't really answer. He then put me on to his manager, while saying in the distance that I was a difficult customer. I just wanted some simple answers people, come on! I asked the same questions about the warranty, and got the same answer. I cannot believe that they actually sell this stuff for the prices that they have. I know some of the factories that they get these from and they will not last the distance. The 12 month or 1 year warranty versions are bad enough, but these others....sheesh....shiver....Please make sure when you are buying furniture that you go for a 5 year warranty.
