This is a top quality Le Corbusier LC4 Chaise Lounge. The sleek lines combined with beautiful curves definitely makes a statement for any room. The frame is made of premium stainless steel polished to a mirror finish. Base frame in black steel finish features rubber gripping pads for easy and safe positioning of chaise in desired position. The upholstery is premium full grain Italian leather. Pony skin also available.
Le Corbusier began experimenting with furniture design in 1928. He is undoubtedly one of the most famous architects, artists and furniture designers the world has known. Early in his career he met resistance, due in part to his revolutionary design ideas.
The LC2 was designed for the 1929 Salon d'Automne, a fine art exposition. It still features in top quality interiors, in the pages of magazines and is included in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
